Testimonials

"Summer" - Mast Cell Tumor Patient
"Dr. Fulmer and the oncology staff, and all their associates, are extraordinarily qualified, highly professional, and exceptionally caring-for both pets and their 'humans'. Summer, our lab, is extremely comfortable and seems to actually enjoy her visits to her friends at the VESC."
-Robert Moffett, Summer's owner

"Kato" - Oral Melanoma Patient, Tonya Spangler (LVT), Charlene Ferrell (Assistant)
"I couldn't be more pleased with the care Kato got. Dr. Fulmer, Dr. Barnes, and the whole staff are so knowledgeable and compassionate. I was so apprehensive at the beginning but there was no need to be. Kato looks and feels great!"
- Helen Desai, Kato's owner

"Tara"- Lymphoma Patient, Dr. Amanda Fulmer (Oncologist), Tonya Spangler (LVT),  Charlene Ferrell (Assistant)
When we came to the VEC with our Pomeranian, Tara Belle, we knew she was very sick.  Little did we know she only had about one month to live without chemotherapy treatments.   We are so thankful to Dr. Fulmer and her wonderful staff for their expertise, tender-loving care and compassion given to Tara and us.  We will be forever grateful for having more time with our precious girl.  The VEC is like our extended family and we will be forever grateful to them.  Tara is doing very well.  She is very happy - running, jumping and playing like she always has.  We are thankful for every day!
-Ray & Annette Baird

Mary Pearce and "Chalupe", Tonya Spangler (LVT), Charlene Ferrell (Assistant)
One of our dearest oncology patients who we have treated for mast cell tumors. Chalupe even wore a dress for her snapshot!

"Sam" - Histiocytic Sarcoma Patient, Dr. Amanda Fulmer (Oncologist), Tonya Spangler (LVT), Charlene Ferrell (Assistant)
"Sam really responds to the staff at the VESC. They obviously care about his condition and treat him with care and kindness. He responds to this positively and I think he enjoys his visits."
-Frederick Beale, Sam's owner

"Tibby" - Mast Cell Tumor Patient, Dr. Amanda Fulmer (Oncologist), Tonya Spangler (LVT), Charlene Ferrell (Assistant)
"The oncology team, A.K.A. "Team Tibby," has allowed me to love my dog for a longer period of time.  She feels great and we're enjoying life!  Thanks, Dr. Fulmer, Tonya, and Charlene!"
-Pat Harkess, Tibby's owner

"Katy" - Mast Cell Tumor Patient, Dr. Amanda Fulmer, (Oncologist), Tonya Spangler (LVT), Charlene Ferrell (Assistant)
"Everyone at VESC has taken exceptional care of our girl, Katy.  Surgery and chemotherapy are no fun for anyone, but Katy handled all of it just fine thanks to the expertise, love and affection of her team of docs. As for me and my husband, we wouldn't have made it through without the compassion, encouragement, and affection of Dr. Fulmer, Tonya, and Charlene. We can't wait to get back to swimming in the river and running at the park! Thanks for all your love."
-Mark and Juliet Brown, Katy's owners
